Bittersweet Changes
When Julie and Jaime added drummer Don Boyette and guitarist Omar ElDieahy to the group, Sweet Leda was born. They began writing immediately. The foursome decided to record a few songs to introduce Sweet Leda’s new sound to the world. Bittersweet Changes contains three new songs, plus a re-vamped version of “Down.”

This is Bittersweet by Bittersweet
The beginnings of Sweet Leda, Julie and Jaime formed the band Bittersweet with producer/musician Kevin Hill in 2002 to record this album. It’s a fun and diverse collection that showcases Julie’s and Jaime’s earliest songwriting efforts together. Check out some of these oldies! Sweet Leda still plays some of them to this date.

Parker’s Moon by Leda’s Charm
This “family band” gave credit to the moniker. Julie and Jaime teamed up with Jaime’s mother Dorothy Carpenter on percussion, and stepfather Don Carlson on guitar and vocals. The collaboration was called Leda’s Charm, and played with the sound of jazzy folk ‘n blues. Don’s natural songwriting abilities serve as the backbone to this entire album. Although the band’s performances ended when Don passed away in July 2007, his music and spirit continue to play a major role in Sweet Leda. Check out this fantastic collection of music and hear another side of Julie and Jaime. Sweet Leda fans may recognize a song or two on this collection of songs.
